I use these open calls to step outside my comfort zone and explore subjects I might not choose on my own. I’ve found that the most unexpected topics often lead to the most inspiration, turning a creative challenge into a project I truly love.

The stranger came one winter night
We saw it, from the rooftops high
Its icy cloak. A chilling sight. Reflecting light, moonbeam bright
Wind whistled loud like a trombone
Its footfall buried in mounting snow
And suddenly we hear the door; the stranger was not strange at all... But our neighbour’s cat Ramon! We pulled him in, he likes our hugs. We sat inside all warm and snug. And thus concludes this winter tale, With warmth and love and a little scare!
